Following her yoga passion led her to complete her first yoga teacher training in 2005, which inspired her to travel to India for the majority of 2006. During this sojourn, she learned Ayurveda (the Indian holistic sister science to yoga) spent two months in Chiang Mai, Thailand, training in Thai Massage. Upon returning to the USA, a license was required to practice massage, and so she started to attend Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Mission Valley, San Diego. Due to a wrist injury, the massage path didn’t manifest, but her interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine was sparked.
While attending classes at PCOM, she also led yearly retreats to Southern India, as well as to Costa Rica, Mexico, Nicaragua, and locally. She draws from Ayurveda, TCM, Buddhism, and yoga philosophy when serving her patients with a warmth and comforting presence to facilitate healing of the mind, heart, soul, and physical body.
